Wheel-lift towing. Tight spaces, handled cleanly.
When you need to pull a standard sedan out of a tight apartment garage or a downtown drive-through lot, a wheel-lift truck is the right tool. Smaller footprint than a flatbed, faster hook-up, and clean results on properly-equipped vehicles. The wheel-lift trucks we dispatch run modern hydraulics rated for sedans, trucks, and most SUVs up to 7,500 pounds.

What do El Paso drivers ask about Wheel-Lift?
What is wheel-lift towing?
A wheel-lift truck has a metal yoke that slides under the drive wheels and lifts only that end of your vehicle off the ground - the other end rolls on its own wheels. It is faster than a flatbed and fits into tight lots where a flatbed cannot.
Is wheel-lift safe for my car?
For standard FWD or RWD sedans, yes. For AWD, 4WD, or any EV - absolutely not, call for a flatbed. The spinning driveshaft or dragging drive motors will cause expensive internal damage on any vehicle with all four wheels driven or motored. If you're unsure, we'll tell you honestly.
Can you fit into an apartment garage?
Usually yes. Most wheel-lift trucks in the network clear 6'8". Text a photo of the garage entrance when you call and we'll confirm clearance before dispatch. Some downtown buildings with 6'0" clearance require a specialty mini-truck - we can arrange.
How much does wheel-lift towing cost?
A wheel-lift tow is the standard light-duty rate: a $95 hookup plus a per-mile rate, the same price day or night. Short moves cost less simply because the mileage is lower.
Will you jump start and then tow if the car will not run?
Yes. Many batteries are just drained - a quick jump is sometimes all you need, no tow required. If the alternator is bad or the engine won't hold a charge, the driver will jump it to move it onto the truck and still tow. Ask the dispatcher how a combined call is priced when you call.
